Al Pacino
Biographie
Alfredo James "Al" Pacino (né le 25 avril 1940) est un acteur et réalisateur américain. Il est célèbre pour jouer des gangsters, dont Michael Corleone dans la trilogie "Le parrain", Tony Montana dans Scarface, Alphonse "Big Boy" Caprice dans Dick Tracy et Carlito Brigante dans "L'impasse", mais il est également apparu à plusieurs reprises de l'autre côté de la loi - en tant que policier, détective et avocat. Son rôle de Frank Slade dans Scent of a Woman lui a valu l'Oscar du meilleur acteur en 1992 après avoir reçu sept nominations aux Oscars. Il a fait ses débuts dans le film Me, Natalie dans un second rôle mineur en 1969, avant de jouer le rôle principal dans le drame de 1971 The Panic in Needle Park. Pacino a fait sa percée majeure quand il a reçu le rôle de Michael Corleone dans "Le parrain" en 1972, ce qui lui a valu une nomination aux Oscars du meilleur second rôle masculin. Dick Tracy et Glengarry Glen Ross ont été nominés aux Oscars pour le meilleur second rôle. Nominations aux Oscars pour le meilleur acteur comprennent Le Parrain Partie II, Serpico, Dog Day Afternoon, le drame de la salle d'audience ... Et la justice pour tous et l'odeur d'une femme. En plus d'une carrière dans le cinéma, il a également connu une carrière réussie sur scène, en remportant Tony Awards pour «Tiger Wear a Necktie»? et la formation de base de Pavlo Hummel. Son amour pour Shakespeare l'a amené à réaliser son premier film avec Looking for Richard, un documentaire sur la pièce Richard III. Pacino a reçu de nombreuses récompenses à vie, dont une de l'American Film Institute. Il est un acteur de méthode, enseigné principalement par Lee Strasberg et Charlie Laughton à l'Actors Studio de New York. Bien qu'il ne se soit jamais marié, Pacino a eu plusieurs relations avec des actrices et a trois enfants.
